From safety and education to legal preparedness and food access, ADELANTE is a trusted partner for those who need it most.
Education Initiative
After School Tutoring and Art Therapy
Our tutoring program supports elementary school students with the academic foundation they need to succeed — offered free of charge to families in Canton.
We offer therapeutic art classes that promote mental wellness and creative expression in a safe and welcoming environment.
Community Support
Language Assistance, Transportation, Food and Clothes Distribution,
We accompany community members to medical, legal, and other critical appointments, providing interpretation and advocacy support so no one has to navigate important decisions alone due to language or communication barriers.
We also collect and distribute food and clothing to anyone in need — no questions asked — because dignity and basic needs go hand in hand.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Free security cameras, Know-Your-Rights Workshops and Health Education.
We install free security cameras in homes and provide hands-on training so families can monitor their surroundings and feel safer in their own space.
We bring free legal preparedness services directly to the community — in homes, local businesses, and gathering spaces — helping individuals complete powers of attorney and understand policies, laws, and initiatives that may affect their lives.
